purposes.
We aim to communicate respectfully and infrequently, and only with information relevant to the group.
Confidentiality & Limits
What is shared in the group is expected to remain confidential. Participants agree not to repeat or share personal
stories,
names, or identifying details outside the group.
While confidentiality is a core value, it cannot be guaranteed. This is a peer-led group, not a clinical or
therapeutic service.
If there is a serious concern about someone’s safety or the safety of others, the group organizer may need to seek
outside
support or emergency assistance.
By attending, you agree to take responsibility for what you share and to respect the privacy of others.
Anonymity
You are not required to share your full name or any identifying details in the group. You are welcome to
participate in a way
that feels comfortable and appropriate for you.
No Recording
No audio, video, or photos are permitted during group sessions without the explicit consent of everyone present.
Safety Escalation
If there is an urgent concern about immediate safety, we may contact emergency services. If you are in immediate
danger,
call 911.
If you are struggling and need support right now in Canada, you can call or text 988.
Personal Responsibility
This group does not provide professional mental health services. Participants remain responsible for their own
wellbeing and for
seeking professional help when needed.
